Spring is coming

Even on a grey cold morning, Spring is waiting.

 'Pussy Willow wakens from her Winter nap'.


Pink tinged alder catkins swell.


The lichen looks brighter and golden




 Early flowering cherry blossoms peek out.

 
And the hellebores in  my wild garden lift their lovely heads!

 
Soon she'll be here!x

Beautiful photos AND writing, Jules! I need to take a walk around the yard and see what I can see! We all need hope for warmer days, right about now! :)

Oh you lucky girl, still three feet of snow here and not a catkin to be seen! Thank you for your beautiful pictures, I'll have to enjoy Spring vicariously through you for the time being.

Oh I can't wait for Spring! We have a few more weeks of Winter to go, but looking forward to those lovely flowers and warm sunshine!
